Where Orchids Blush-and Cry

Um
it's so good
like the sun caressing the silhouette
of its child

You're here and that's all that matters
now
but first feel the orchids
and why they are so perfectly propped

Then
hear all the different colors and
please never be afraid to say hello-
I want you to

Scratch my back
keep scratching
until energy thrives and feeling ripens
to make way for the
dimming darkness

Your child and mine can
for a moment
jump the rope
and make footprints in the snow

Who's to say who will cross the
line first-

It doesn't even matter
